Socks, socks, who needs socks?

Pierluca discovered his feet a week before he turned 4 months. This is the exact moment he discovered them:

                

I love that I have a picture of this moment. (Poor future kids, they probably won't have half as many photos. Isn't that how it usually works out?) 

A month has gone by now and in that month he has mastered the art of removing his socks. We have yet to lose socks but I know that's coming.  I can't tell you how many times I have to put them back on a day. If it were warm I wouldn't care as much. I would let those puppies breathe.

Invisible Binky

Pierluca no longer takes a binky. He began "weaning" himself about a month to a month and a half ago. We still have them laying around but we've stopped offering them to him because he just wont take it; that's ok. He does however love his invisible binky in his sleep. I guess his dream binky is better than the real thing.

Pierluca moments to remember

Pierluca will be 3 Months on Thursday. 


Today we awoke to Pierluca squealing and cooing up a storm. A moment later from his little bed, next to ours, we heard a little voice yell, "Waaaaahoooooo!" Francesco and I laughed. Do we have a  future daredevil on our hands?

Maternity Photos at 35 Weeks

One of our friends took our maternity photos a couple of weeks ago. I wanted maternity pictures that were more like couples photos. I think she did an amazing job!

It's growing. It's more noticeable under my clothes now, and its looking more like I'm pregnant and less like I've finished a huge lunch or that I have been double fisting cake and cookies everyday for the past few months.
